ABC's of Peace with Video Teaching the Ten Second Pause

What’s your definition of Peace? To create peace, meditate or journal on these:

  • ANCHOR- This is about grounding yourself in the present moment. When life feels out of control, you need to find something steady to hold onto—whether it’s your values, your purpose, or even just your physical posture. I often remind myself of three aspirational words that define who I want to be, and I repeat them to reconnect with my best self. What are your three words?
  •  BREATHE- Your breath is your power. Deep, intentional breathing calms the nervous system and brings you back to clarity. Using the attached video, take a moment to breathe deeply, in for 3 sec. through the nose, out for seven sec. through the mouth, several times, and let that stress melt away. What breathing pattern is helpful for you?
  •  CLARIFY- Once you’re grounded and calmer, it’s time to get clarity. Ask yourself: What’s really happening here? What do I want at this moment? What’s the next best step? Clarity is the antidote to chaos, and it’s what allows you to move forward with confidence and purpose.

This framework is simple but powerful. It’s about training yourself to switch from stress to peace, from overwhelm to focus. Where in your life could you use this framework right now? What situation is calling for more peace and clarity and who could you share this with?
